Chrysler Repair: Cirrus blower motor resistor: right under instrument panel removal, Cirrus underpanel duct removal

I need to replace resistor pack on my 2000 cirrus.

I can't see how to get shroud off that is under glove compartment.

Any suggestions?

Hi Gary,
That 'silencer/duct' has a 'push-in' fastener under the right hand end of it that attaches it to the instrument panel. Just gently pry out the center button of the fastener to release its grip, and remove the fastener.  Then you should be able to maneuver the left hand end of the panel off of the floor distribution duct and thus remove it entirely so as to gain access to the blower motor resistor block.
