Chrysler Repair: neon headlights, brights, headlights

Question
I have been having some problems with my daughters' Neon.  A couple of weeks ago the headlights went completely.  Upon pulling the switch I saw that the switch had shorted out and melted the components.  I replaced the switch and it worked fine for a couple weeks, then the headlights quit working the other night.  She was able to run the brights by engaging them on the blinker arm, but they would not stay on if it was pushed forward.  I pulled the switch again and everything looked fine.  It must have been wired correctly since it worked for a while.  Not sure where to go from here.  Is there a relay somewhere, or could it be something in the highbeam switch?
Thanks

Answer
Hi Dave,
Unfortunately I am not near my manuals so can't tell you about the circuit. I will be available on Saturday so watch for to be 'available' then. Let me know the year model of the Neon. I have the '97 and '01 manuals so the the car should be near one of those to be applicable to the info that I have.
