Chrysler Repair: 01 minivan power windows dont function, brake light switch, wing windows

Question
2001 town and country - Problem...On a recent trip from Alabama to Ohio the (rear) wing windows were open at a brief stop for gas. After starting up the car the wing windows wouldn't shut or open. Then shortly afterwards, none of the power windows were working using the drivers side control panel. I also tried the passenger side window switch and it didn't work either. I tried switching a fuse (rear tail gate - same amperage) with the windows fuse and still nothing....any suggestions?

Answer
Hi Chris,
The wiring diagrams for '02, which probably apply to your '01, shows that fuse #28 in the power box under the hood (40 amp) powers the circuit, and also that there is a resettable circuit breaker for the power windows which is supplied by that fuse. The circuit breaker is located under the dash, near the brake light switch/brake pedal arm and also near a similar size device for the radio (called the radio choke). So check that fuse, and find the circuit breaker and reset it's switch.
