Chrysler Repair: 3.8 temp sensor, coolant temperature sensor, engine coolant temperature sensor

Question
I have a 2002 Town and country with the 3.8 engine. I believe I need to change the coolant temp sensor. It is running very rough, check engine light is on and the gauge reads cold all the time, even after the motor has warmed up.
where is the temp sensor located? I purchased one from NAPA but can't find one that looks like it on the engine?

Thanks, Chris

Answer
REMOVAL
WARNING: HOT, PRESSURIZED COOLANT CAN CAUSE INJURY BY SCALDING. COOLING SYSTEM MUST BE PARTIALLY DRAINED BEFORE REMOVING THE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR.

Drain cooling system below engine coolant temperature sensor level. (Refer to 7 - COOLING - STANDARD PROCEDURE)
Remove power steering reservoir and relocate (Power Steering Fluid Reservoir). Do not disconnect hoses.
Remove ignition coil and bracket (Fuel Rail, Ignition Coil and Bracket).
Disconnect coolant sensor electrical connector (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor).
Remove coolant sensor (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor).
