Chrysler Repair: 96 minivan: turn signals, dash lamps, speedo, radio dont work, check fuse, headlamp switch

Question
i have a 1996 plymouth grand voy. the lights on my dash dont work as well as my turn single my speedrometer and radio when i bought my van there was no manual so is it a fuse or electric problem and if its a fuse how do i know where to change it

Answer
Hi Kryslin,
On the radio, check fuse 28 in the box in the engine compartment near the battery, and check fuse 8 in the box under the dash on the driver's side. For the turn signals check fuse 10 in the engine compartment box and fuse 12 under the dash.  On the dash lights, try turning the knob on the headlamp switch as that will change the brightness level of the dash lamps. The speedo problem may be related to the output speed sensor on the transmission, but usually when that fails the transmission also won't shift well. So let me know a bit more details.
