Chrysler Repair: Engine light on, concode, autozone

I drive a 2002 concode.I think my engine light is on, but it does not say check engine if it is my engine light why or what would make it come on my car rides great and I only have 79,000 miles on it.

I would suggest that you verify from the owner's maual exactly which light is on. The engine light usually says "check engine" so it could be something else that is also important to know. If the check engine light is on it means that the engine computer has detected a fault and recorded it a code number in the memory. You can get a free memory readout at an Autozone parts store.  Or you can use the ignition key:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the odometer window to see the mileage reading change to show a 4-digit number preceeded by a P which would be the code for the fault. Let me know that and we'll go from there.
