I am tryint to locate an a/c control unit, mine has a short and only works part time. Any ideas?

Hi Jesse,
I would look at local wrecking yards. If there is a 'pull-it-yourself' that would be the lowest cost. Regular wrecking yards also have electronic connections with yards around the country. You might also consider figuring out what is wrong with your present one. Chances are it is an electrolytic capacitor that has gone leaky and needs to be replaced. Check the circuit board for sign or wetness around each such capacitor.
