Chrysler Repair: 1998 sebring convertible: blower on high/engine stumbles, 4 digit numbers, wd 40

Question
two questions actually... first is interior fan works only only on high speed, switch or relay block is most common? also have an intermittant "fishbite" hesitation/stall which happens 4-5 times weekly when driven daily about 15-20 miles mostly stop and go around town, rarely causing an all out stall of engine and requiring restart (about 2-3 times per month). Thanks for the help guys !!!!

Answer
Hi Eddie,
I would believe the problem is the blower resistor block located in the housing under the dash. Trace the wire from the blower motor back to the plug where you will find the block which has 2 screws tha allow you to drop it out. Make sure the resistors of the replacement unit are not touching oneanother when you install it.
On the 'miss' try to see if you have fault codes stored in the computer:turn the ignition switch 'on-off-on-off-on and leave on' doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the odometer window to see if the mileage changes to show 4-digit numbers preceeded by a P. If so, let me know what they are. Also you can get a free readout at Autozone parts stores. One possibility is the egr valve is sticking slightly ajar which dilutes the mixture too much to have a good idle and there for it stumbles. Find that valve and spray some WD-40 on the stem of the valve where it enter the body of the valve. Then move the stem with the tip of a screwdriver inserted in the slot of the valve.

PS Sorry for the delay, I just found your question in the 'pool'.
