Chrysler Repair: No start on Plym Voya. 1989 V6 engine, new distributor cap, roland roland

Question
It is a very nice car and have served me for 5 years with no problem. But I parked one day and then moved it for a couple of meters and then-no start.
1)Battery ok, starter cranks the engine with no problem, but no firing.
2)Found one defective ground cable from dynamo to dash/firewall replaced that and the dynamo as well- no start
3) when putting key in start position the fuel pump engage and natural stop. Checked with test lamp-no spark at coil.
4)loosened up the complete harness from Z1 to ASD relay -got no result, but-suddenly ASD relay fed Z1, but still no start.
5)changed to a new coil,but no start
6) demounted the distributor completely - bought new distributor cap and rotor, changed pickup from a donor car (exactly like). put it back , but no start.
7) demounted it again and put ignition on, and move rotor by hand - clicking of several? relays ,but no start
8)now when cranking I got Z1 (12 v on the coil) and flashing test lamp on coil  minus.
9) on board diagnostic now shows only 12-54-55 (something with sync pickup, but what ?)
Where can I look ? is it the SMEC
9)

Answer
Hi Jack,
Now that you are getting "...flashing test lamp on coil minus", are you getting spark? I would believe so but tell me if otherwise.
The 54 code is saying the the signal needed to synchronize the injector pulses to the position of the cam shaft is missing. Is it possible that both the original and the donor distributors are defective as regards the photopickup for the outer ring on the distributor rotating disc? Maybe buying a new photopickup unit will be the answer.
I would check that the wires for both photopickups are patent from the distributor to the SBEC. The tan/yellow goes to pin 44, while the gray* or gray/bk* wire goes to pin 24.
Let me know the answers to theses questions/tests and we can go on from there.
