Chrysler Repair: Rear Dash Removal, plastic screws, panel speakers

Hello,

I have a 98 cirrus, and the speakers have gone out, i have bought new ones to replace the old, but i cannot figure out how to get the back dash off, i look underneath and i see plastic screws but the heads would be on the other side where the upholstery is. im lost, also the front door speakers do not work at all, but the dashboard "tweeters" and the rear 6x9's do work (checked front door speakers with new speakers.)

Hi Blake,
I am not sure what you mean by "back dash". Are you describing those by the windshield or by the rear window? I'm unclear about the difference between the dash tweeters and the 'rear dash speakers. The manual only shown 2 dash speakers. If there are 4 on the dash, I can't tell you anything about that except that it appears the if you have the 'premium' system that the instrument panel speakers may be larger, and no separate tweeter is shown.
