Chrysler Repair: replace steering fluid hose, postal mail, ring seals

Question
I am wondering what type of hose, size, clamps, and/or any other parts I need to replace the current steering fluid hose; which is currently squirting out fluid. The vehicle is a 2002 Chysler Town & Country

Answer
Hi Heidi,
The '02 manual shows there to be three possible hoses (pressurized from pump to gear, return from gear to pump, and supply from reservoir to pump) and detailed steps for removing and replacing them. I would suggest that I xerox copy and postal mail you the pages, particularly if the hose in question is not obvious as to how to go about replacing it. As for the parts, you can either remove the bad one and see if there is a 'standard' replacement available at an auto parts store, or you can go to a Chrysler dealer and buy the hose at the parts counter before you begin on the job. The only other parts you would replace are the o-ring seals that go on both ends of the hose. I don't have any size references to give you. You should also get a container of Chrysler automatic trans fluid (MS-9602) as that is called for to refill the power steering system.
If you can tell me which of the three hoses is leaking I can copy the pages you need to replace that one. Is it possible that you simply have a loose attachemtment at one end of a hose which you can tighten to stop the leak?
It costs me 10 cents a side to copy. If it is 4 sides or less I'll do it for free. If more than that, I would appreciate reimbursement by postage stamps after you get the pages.
So let me know which hose if you can ID it, and a postal mailing address.
