Chrysler Repair: Grille:03 Sebring Convert., tamarac fl, postal mail

Question
QUESTION: How to replace grille on 2003 Sebring?

ANSWER: Hi Paul,
Sedan or convertible? I believe you would find it useful to have the page with drawings that shows the fasteners because I believe that you will have to remove the front bumper fascia to remove the grille. I can xerox copy and postal mail that to you. Just tell me a postal mailining address and which body style you have.

My address follows.

Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hi Paul,
The bumper fascia appears to have to be removed first, and then the grille comes out of the fascia. I have the '03 manual which shows taking the grille off the fascia is simply a 4-step job:
remove foam impact bar from fascia
remove clips that attach grille to fascia
remove the grille
transfer the medallion
then you reverse the steps.
Removing the fascia is the more complex part. The '03 manual doesn't show that; it assumes you also have a copy the '02 manual*. But I do have the '00 Sebring sedan manual which I believe uses the same fascia and does show the parts of that one. So I will xerox that page or so and send it to you, hoping you will find it identical or similar enough to give you the idea.

*It appears to me that around '01 or so the Sebring convert was revised to share the body with the sedan, whereas before that they were quite different vehicles. Have you noticed that too? and do you know which year that occurred?
