Chrysler Repair: 92 New Yorker anti-theft device, straight pins, storage bin

Question
Chrysler Repair: 92 New Yorker anti-theft device, straight pins, storage bin
1992 fifth avenue
Hi~ The "set" light on anti theft device has been on for a few days..1992 Fifth Ave. The anti theft is activated now and will only turn over then die as usual. Have tried the key in the door thing, unhooking the battery to try to reset. Nothing. Is there a wire that I can just yank out and throw as far as I can? Thank you.

Answer
Hi Denise,
Earlier this week you asked me a question about a problem with you vehicle. Now I need to ask a favor of you. I am competing for the honor of being the "Expert of the Month" for December. You can help me by going the the 'thank/rate' tab below and look for the question that asks if you think I should be so-honored. If you would select the 'yes' option I would be most appreciative. Please do this before 6pm CST tomorrow, New Year's Eve when the competition ends. I wish that your Chrysler vehicle is running well and gives you good service in the New Year!

History-
Hi Denise,
To disarm the system, if neither front door lock will do it, there are a couple of wires at the plug of the anti-theft module that you pierce through the insulation with straight pins, then touch the  pins together once, and then separate them. That replicates lock/unlock of the doors.
To get to the module:
Remove center support/floor console as necessary. (Floor console removal, if necessary, is described as:open upper storage bin door. Remove two screws attaching front wall of storage bin to mounting bracket. Remove console and drawer. Remove two screws attaching mounting bracket to lower instrument panel. Remove mounting bracket).
Disconnect glove box/ash receiver wiring connectors
Remove the glove box by removing all the 10 screws around the opening and and remove it.
Then look above the glove box opening and there is a crosspiece with possibly several modules on it. Remove the 3 screws on the bracket that attaches it to the instrument panel and lower it down for convenience. If there is a remote keyless module (2 black connectors)remove it so as to have access to two screws that hold the theft module to the bracket.   The theft module has a natural color plug with 21 pins. The black/light green wire on pin 11 and the dark green/orange wire on pin 4 are the ones you want to try the pin touch technique to. See if the light goes out.
Then see if it starts. If you get it started and WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING pull the plug out of the module, that will safely kill the system, if you want. Never pull the plug UNLESS the engine is running.
If you want to avoid the problem in the future (rather than pulling the plug for permanent removal) then never use the door key, remote, or the power door locks when you exit the car; rather secure the doors by means of the mechanical push-buttons which thus circumvents ever setting up the alarm system.

PS May I ask a favor? If you note the 'thank/rate' tab below, please use it to get back to me with further questions/results. Also, notice the question about 'nomination to be expert of the month' and if my answer has proven helpful please give a 'yes' as I am in a close race for that honor. Thanks in advance.
