Chrysler Repair: 98-9 Chrysler T&C Headlamp module removal, exact technique, headlamp assembly

Question
I have a '99 Chrysler T&C minivan with severely clouded headlamp lenses. In
checking them out ready for replacement, I couldn't find any screws or torts
holding them in. It certainly isn't obvious as to how they come out. Would you
please advise? Is the lens available without buying a complete headlamp
assembly?

Answer
Hi Phil,
I have the '98 manual and it shows 3 studs on the back side of the module that project thruough the vertical panel that is next to the radiator and are held in place by 3 nuts. Then there is a single screw on the top of the horizontal closure panel that goes across the top of the radiator. That should release the entire module. You will have to check with a dealer about what parts are available as I don't have a parts manual. I know that some folks have successfully 'cleared' the cloudiness with fine rubbing compounds but I don't know which or the exact technique. I'm still in the age of glass sealed beam headlamps.
