Chrysler Repair: 1995 Chrysler New Yorker Flasher Relay Location, flasher relay, chrysler new yorker

Question
Could you possibly tell me were the Flasher Relay location in on a 1885 Chrysler New Yorker.  I've looked in the fuse box, under the hood by the left strut tower and can't find this thing anywhere.  ARG!!!  Help.. this is driving me nuts, plus it's unsafe to drive without turn signals.  Neither my turn signals or my hazards work and the fuse is fine so I'm pretty convinced it's the relay.   Thank you very much.

Answer
Hi Mandy,
The "combo-flasher" is located under the dash to the right of the fuse box. It is mounted to the 'in-line bracket', is black in color,  square,  and is removed by pulling backward. The lower edge of the dash on that driver's side has to be removed to see it well for removal. (The instruction for that: Remove push-in fastener under left end of instrument panel. Then release it from attachement to the brake bracket stud and center floor distribution air duct)
It has a multi-pin plug with 4 wires. The wiring diagram gives what may be a slightly different description of the location: 'to the right of the steering column'. A third description is 'between the fuse box and the brake pedal'. Sorry for the confusion! You are probably correct that the flasher is bad because it is powered by two separate fuses, one for turn and one for the emergencies.

PS Use the 'thank/rate' tab below to get back to me for further questions, without having to wait for me to be 'available' to take a question. There is a space for comments to which I will respond. While you are there, if you would note the question about nomination for 'expert of the month' and give me a 'yes' I would appreciate that very much.
