Chrysler Repair: fuse blowing going to compass, rotten egg smell, amp fuse

Question
I have an '09 T&C. It has 1700 miles, the 4.0L. The compass fuse keeps on blowing out. Took it to the dealer I brought it from.  The service center replaced the fuse and blew right away. Did some test, and replaced the modular to the compass. Picked it up on Friday the 12th, drove it home. Used it again on Sat. When I started it the compass was working. After driving it and starting it again the same day it was out. There are two dashes where the compass is. The troubleshooters for Chrysler said to try 4 different test. Don't know what the test where, but the service center said they tried all of them and came up normal. So, the troubleshooter said to replace the 10 amp fuse with a 15 amp. Is this right, and safe? I thought that you shouldn't change the fuses with a larger one then the manufacturer setting. Won't it burn the wire or electrical system. The service center informed me on Friday the 19th that they were driving it every hour to see if the  fuse that is a 15 has blown yet. They are also driving it today Sat. 20th every hour. Should I except this change, or insist on the service center to fix the problem and not put an high amp fuse in it place. I really don't know what to do. This is also not the only problem that is happening to this van. It also has a check engine icon or the MIL going off when I excelerate. It goes off as soon as I let up off the gas. I smell the "rotten egg" smell that is assoc. w/ the catalytic converter is going out. I take it in and the service center finds no codes. They told me that they where not going to spend time to look for the problem till there is a code on their computer. It happened alot the first week I have had it. Then nothing for two weeks, then last Wed. the 10th it happened again.  This was brought on Nov. 22nd. Please help, I don't know have anyone else I can ask. Thank you, Maggie.

Answer
I am sorry that u are having this issue  but the best course of action is to take it back to the dealer and let them mess with it  if u or any one else starts to tinter and look for a prob such as this u could void your warranty.
