Chrysler Repair: 1988 chrysler new yorker atc trouble codes, chrysler new yorker, postal mail

Question
I have a 1988 chrysler new yorker that blows freezing cold air. I did the heater/air condition ATC self diagnostic test and it started blowing hot air during the test.
It also displayed 4 trouble codes but I don't have any explanation of the trouble codes. They are 1,2,14,and 15. Can you explain these codes to me.? Thanks

Answer
Hi Wayne,
The 1 and 2 involve the blend air door actuator, wiring and ATC control. The 14 involves the ambient air temp sensor, wiring and ATC control, the 15 involves the in-car temp sensor, wiring, and ATC. I suspect that the actuator is either failed or the blend door is binding up. It is complicated to the extent that the best way for you to move forward is to have the descriptive pages about the system (14) and the wiring diagrams (4). I can xerox copy and postal mail you those. It would cost about $2.50 for copying and postage which you could send me back as 6 42-cent stamps after you receive the pages.
