Chrysler Repair: Chrysler 300M - Transmission, torque converter clutch, clutch control

Question
I found out that the check engine light in my 2002 300M indicates these two codes (P0700 and P0740-Torque Converter Clutch Control Circuit).  This light came on about a week ago and around that time I noticed a different sound when the car is idling, sort of a repetitive fan noise, barely noticeable.  Can you tell from the codes how serious this it, and what my next step should be?  Do you recommend taking it to a dealer or a transmission shop? Thank you very much for your time and expertise.

Answer
U will need the trans to be removed and the converter to be replaced.
If u wait to long and the converter comes apart  then U will need for it to be rebuilt.  Dealer might give u a better quality in parts a tranny shop might give u a better price  call around see what u get .
