Nissan Repair: 91 D21 exhaust header and cat install, exhaust flange, pacesetter header

Howdy again!

My chilton manual has nothing on installing an exhaust header and cat. Can you shed any light on those procedures? Also exactly what gaskets do i need?

I purchased a Pacesetter header, and Magnaflow Cat (CARB) 250k on the truck and new smog laws in CA (must pass 1996 standards)Autoanything.com assures me the cat will pass smog.

You should pass fine.  Get an exhaust manifold gasket and you will probably need to get gaskets for the converter and exhaust flange too.  That is, unless you are going to have a shop weld the converter on.  Remember that the converter was replaced since the old one was plugging up and you had 250K on the vehicle.
