Chrysler Repair: 1996 Chrysler Sebring Heater Core, drain coolant, chrysler sebring

Question
QUESTION: I would like to know how to replace the Heater core in a  1996 Sebring LXI convertible V-6

ANSWER: Hi David,
The heater core can be replaced without removing the whole housing but if there has been significant leakage the manual suggests pulling the housing and cleaning it, which is a big job. Just removing the core is an 18-step process which I can type in and send to you as a follow-up answer, or I can xerox copy and postal mail you the entire procedure for removing the whole unit. Let me know which you want. Use the "thank/rate" tab below to get back without having to wait for me to be 'available' to take a question. There is a space for comments. While there, if you would consider nominating me for 'expert of the month' that would be appreciated.

Answer
Hi David,
How did things work out with the heater core?
Earlier, last month, you asked me a question about that problem with your vehicle. Now I need to ask a favor of you. I am competing for the honor of being the "Expert of the Month" for December. You can help me by going the the 'thank/rate' tab below and look for the question that asks if you think I should be so-honored. If you would select the 'yes' option I would be most appreciative. Please do this before 6pm CST today, New Year's Eve when the competition ends. I wish that your Chrysler vehicle is running well and gives you good service in the New Year!

PPS The voting for 'expert of the month' ends tomorrow afternoon. If you would be so kind as to find the "nomination?" area of the 'thank/rate' tab and change the 'no' to a 'yes' that would give a vote. Thanks.
