Chrysler Repair: Any leads for wiring diagrams?, cadillac eldorado, mail rate

I apologize for asking a question that is not really under your expertise range, but I was wondering if you had any suggestions on where one might find a wiring diagram for a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado? I have been unsuccessful and would appreciate any help getting pointed in the right direction. Many thanks.

You might try Autozone.com to see if they go back that far in their on-line wiring diagram resource listings for do-it-yourself'ers. The other sources would be Amazon.com and eBay.com where you can search for 'Cadillac 1976 shop manual' or 'service manual' and if nothing currently comes up keep inquiring because one such manual will likely come up soon. Try to get the factory-published manual, not a derivative one such as are sold in parts stores. The factory manual will have the complete diagram. If you believe that the car was essentially unchanged over several years you can buy one from another year and find it likely to apply to your car.  
I built my collection of Chrysler manuals from eBay. But don't bite for the overpriced ones that are offered by commercial dealers. You might try making an offer to such a seller after the time end of the auction and it isn't purchased, and make a lower offer than they originally listed it for. It seems that fewer private parties are listing manuals at reasonable opening bid prices these days. Also you can argue over shipping costs which can be reduced by using the US postal media mail rate.
