Chrysler Repair: Hard start from warm engine, coolant temp, engine controller

Question

Answer
Hi Johnny,
It sounds like a problem with the mixture of fuel/air being inappropriate for the warm engine. The most efficient way to solve it would be to get a fault code readout of the engine controller to learn if it has recognized the problem and stored it as a 4-digit number. If there is an Autozone parts store near you they will often do a readout for free. Or an independent shop will do it for around $40. Once you get any fault code numbers write back and tell me what they are and we can go from there. I could suggest a sensor to check out, the coolant temp sensor, but you need an ohmmeter to do that. Let us see what codes the engine controller had detected on it own. When you write back tell me which size (L) engine you have.
