Chrysler Repair: 95 Acclaim Turn Signals/Hazard Lights, blown fuse, fuse box

Question
Hey Roland,

I have a 95 Acclaim. My turn signals and my hazard lights are not working. When I turn on my blinkers inside the car, the green arrow doesn't flash. Is this a blown fuse or some sort of relay?

Answer
Hi Kritina,
Take a look at fuse #19 in fuse box under the dash (10 amp size) on the driver-side to the left of the steering column. If it is blown then that would explain why; but if you replace it and it blows again some further troubleshooting will be needed. The other possibilities are:
that the flasher unit has failed. It is mounted on the heater/ac air duct above and behind the fuse box (it is round, plugs into a socket mounted on the duct and has 2-prongs. It is inexpensive to replace.
that  fuses 12 and/or 16 are blown, so check those, but you would notice other things too not working if either of those were blown.
