Chrysler Repair: map or maf sensor, upper intake manifold, pt crusier

Question
QUESTION: Where is the sensor on a PT Crusier and which wire goes to ECU?

ANSWER: Hi Beecher,
Which size (L) engine do you have and what is the year model? There are three wires, and once you give me the specifics I can tell you the wiring to the edu.
Use the "thank/rate" tab below to get back with the info, using the comments section. You won't have to wait for me to be "available" for a question.

QUESTION: 2.4 liter 2006 PT - adding hydrogen on demand unit. Went from 20.5 HWY to 31.5 HWY. Now I need to lean out sensor with device. It ties to the wire going back to ECU. On three wire set up, which is the wire? Thank you so Much!

Answer
Hi Beecher,
My answer is based on the 2003 Sebring manual for the 2.4L but I have every reason to believe it should be applicable to your '06 model. The wiring diagrams show the MAP sensor wires as follows:
5 volt supply wire to sensor, violet/white, goes to pin 29 of ecm
MAP signal wire, dark green/red, goes to pin 23 of the ecm
MAP sensor ground wire, black/light blue, goes to pin 27 of ecm.
All 'go' to the ecm, but I suspect that the green/red is the one that you would want to commect to modify the function of the sensor.
The sensor is mounted adjacent to the end of the upper intake manifold (right next to the "DOHC/2.4" lettering).
