Auto Insurance Claims: 07 HD motercycle, motercycle, new insurance

Totaled bike to day I bought new, owe 13000.00 paid 18000.00 have full coverage and replacement cost. If they pay to lean holder how does replacement cost work? I buy new and they pay what? reimburse everything over 13000.00 to  make me whole? also added 700 in accessories to bike.

Hi Joseph,

Each insurance company has its own policies and guidelines of how their policy's work. Without reading the exact wording of YOUR policy there is no way for me to answer your questions.

I would suggest you call the agent or company you bought the policy from and ask them these questions. However, don't just take there word for it ask them to put it in writing or have them show you exactly where in your policy the answer to your questions are located. If anything in the policy is different than how it was sold to you, it's time to go shopping for a new insurance company.
