Chrysler Repair: premature shock absorber leakage, dodge grand caravan, shock absorber

Question
1999 Dodge Grand Caravan 125K 4speed auto 3.3L

About a month ago, passenger side shock absorber leaked. I got all 4 changed suspecting (I am not the first owner) that they have never been changed. Now, after a month, I see the passenger side shock is leaking again! I will get it done under warranty. However, I have a question: Is there a possibility that something else (what comes to my mind are mounts etc) might be causing the shock to leak and fail? Like something else should I look into or fix to avoid this failure again?

Thanks for your help!

Answer
Hi Shafique,
I don't know of any reason for premature leakage of a shock absorber other than the absorber itself. Are you certain the leakage is shock absorber fluid? Might it be something else is about all I can imagine as an alternative to defective strut cartridge (shock absorber). But if you find an alternative explantion I would be interested to learn of it.
