Chrysler Repair: 10 amp fuse #12 blowing: 99 Van, plymouth grand voyager, amp fuse

Question
I have a 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager 3.3 ltr. My turn signals, front blower fan seems to be on the circut. The fuse will blow at various intervals while driving. I've swapped out the blower fan relay under the hood. I've noticed that after it goes out, the ac button stays lit even with the fan contorl out. I can turn on & off the ac with the button, but when operating normal the button only comes on if the fan dial is turned on. Does that narrow it down to the fan maybe just beiing old and drawing too many amps?

Answer
That fuse does not provide power to the blower motor, only to the sctuation coil of its relay (that relay is always activated by this fuse when the ignition is "on"). As you have changed out the relay and it still blows the fuse suggests that neither the relay (nor the blower which is run off a different fuse) are involved. The other circuits that it supplies are:
rear window defogger relay actuation coil and led light
driver/passenger heated seat switches (control)
anti-lock brake controller
transmission range sensor
AND the combo signal flasher unit (but not the bulbs themselves).
So I am thinking that the issue is with the flasher unit, which you might want to pull and drive without it for awhile (using hand signals) and see if that keeps the fuse from blowing. And of course conider the other item listed above as possible causes.
