Chrysler Repair: 1991 lebaron turn signals, turn signal switch, continuity tests

Question
Hi, I have a 1991 Lebaron convertable.  The turn signals work intermittanly. I have tried replacing the flasher which is evidently a relay for both the turn signals and fourways. It did not change anything. I need information on testing the turn signal switch and any other related components. I would appreciate any other advice as I understand switches are no longer available. A wiring diagram would also be helpful. Thank You Lee

Answer
Hi Lee,
Did I answer you about 5 days ago as follows?:

I can't identify the question, but I don't recall a definitive answer. If the system is reliable for the flashers then the combo flashers is OK.  I would have to believe it is either the turn signal switch itself or the diode package in the relay bank. I can give you the continuity test for the remote switch if it wasn't in the message you cited. Is it the case that the hi/lo beam is also controlled by that same remote switch? It isn't exactly clear in my manual.

I can xerox copy and mail you the pages from the shop manual with the wiring diagrams and the continuity tests for the remote switch on the dash, etc. It costs me 10 cents per side to copy plus the postage. If you would like this use the "thank and rate" tab to enter a postal mailing address. I'll send them to you on the agreement that you will send me back sufficient 42 stamps to cover the costs.

PS Thanks for the kind evaluation and nomination, Lee. I will copy the 3 wiring diagram pages and the 7 text pages that cover the AJ-body car (which isthe Lebaron Convertible amd Coupe). So fucus on those paragraphs that discuss the AJ only.
It will cost me about $1.42 so you could send any combination of stamps that total that amount. I'll include a self-addressed envelope for your return.
Notice on p.AJ-53 of the diagrams that the turn signal switch is the dotted square area within the headlamp switch area of the drawing, and that the wires for the turn signals do go to the 'diode pack' shown on the following pages. That is why I would suspect that diode package if all the lights work when you try the flashers, but the turn signals are not working well. But also test the turn signal switch's contact wires as shown on page 53 to make sure they are reliably connecting when you try the left and right positions. I have also hand-written some corrections/additions, as I believe there are some errors.

Hi Lee,
I copied and put the pages in the mail to you today. The cost was about $1.42 so any combination of stamps would be appreciated.
