Chrysler Repair: codes 11,21,24, 31,, crankshaft position sensor, oxygen sensor

Question
i just tried your method of turning the ignition on-off and reading the no. of flashes of the check-engine light. i have the code but i do not know how to interpret the no.'s. can you please help me with this.

the no.'s are.....

1 2 2 1 2 1 3 2 1 1 2 4 1 1 5 5

i do know from the previous question that 55 is end of report but i do not know what the other no.'s are or how to read them.

i need help as soon as possible due to the fact that the car will not start when it rains.

Answer
Hi Missi,
I don't recall if you asked me earlier or not, so I can't relate your question to a specific car or other history.
The relevant codes are 12,21,32,11,24.
12 comes up frequently and is usually of no consequence it just means the battery was disconnected recently, otherwise let me know.
21 says there is something wrong with the oxygen sensor
32 says there is a problem with the egr valve
11 says there is a non-functional crankshaft position sensor, at least at some point in the past, maybe it is intermittent
24 says there is a problem with the throttle positon sensor.
Any of theses would explain a hard start in high humidity, as would spark plug wires that are too old and breaking down electrically as far as insulation is concerned.
Let me know the car and engine and year any other recent history and we'll go from there. Use the "thank and rate" tab if I am unavailable where there is a space for comments.
