Chrysler Repair: 1999 chrysler 300m: Overheats with A/C use, fuse box, temp gauge

Question
my 1999 300m overheats only when I use the a/c. I've changed the
thermostat.what else might cause this to happen.please help thank you

Answer
Hi Tavarus,
Are the cooling fans at the radiator coming on when you use the A/C and the temp gauge rises toward H? If not, then there are some fuses I would inspect:
Fuse B (30 amp) and fuse E (40 amp) in the fuse box under the hood, and also fuse 21 (10 amp) in the fuse box behind the dash (remove end cap from left end of dash, after opening driver door for access).
Then see if the fans come on when your engine warms up toward H without the A/C in action. Let me know, please, if the fuses look OK and whether the fans are working, but look closely at the inner wire of the fuses which may have a subtle crack in it without being frankly blown out.
