Chrysler Repair: 93 Chrysler Town and Country Transmission, chrysler town and country, speed overdrive transmission

Question
I have a 93 Chrysler Town and Country which i believe is equipped with the A604 4 speed overdrive transmission.  I am wondering if need to replace the transmission because it is not going into gear at all.  Before this occured it would go into limp in mode periodically.  I changed both the relay for the TCM? and the reverse lights (which are the same relays) and it was fine for a while.  Then last night it just disengaged and would not go into any gear.  I read the codes from the TCM? from the connector under the dash and came up with codes 15 Relay Output Always Off, 24 LR Press Sw. Circuit, 38 Lock Up Control, 51, 52, 53 Gear Ratio Error In 1st 2nd and 3rd.  I want to know if i have to replace the trans, TCM or both.  Thank you for your help in advance.

Answer
The 15 code may be left over from the earlier relay failure, but that could be an issue if you can't detect that it is clicking or that it is electrically supplied per the circuit. Let me know if you don't have the wiring assigments.  I would check the fluid level in the trans because the 24 and 38 can be due to that. The 51 could be due to the output or turbine speed sensors, but the kickers are 52 and 53 which appear to have no other explanation than internal failure. So I would check/try the very inexpensive alternative causes/electrical checks, then get a second opinion from an independent trans shop that knows the Chrysler A604 based upon the codes and your finding.
