looking at firewall which hose is the heater cores inlet hose, thank you so mush

Hi Bob,
I just saw your question in the "pool" of questions, sorry for the delay. I don't have a 2.5L engine here to look at, and the manuals don't clearly state which hose is "to" and which is "from" the heater core. However one way to tell is to feel the two hoses after the car has been driven with the heater running and putting out heat. You should notice that the inlet hose is a bit warmer than the outlet hose. It may be subtle so maybe use a thermometer placed on the surface of the hose to help measure it.
