Chrysler Repair: engine swap/quarter window: 86 LeBaron conv., postal mail, xerox copy

Hi Roland,
I have two questions:
How do I get to the power window motor for the back side window of a 86 lebaron convertible.  I need to hook up the operating arm that lift and lowers the window.

I have a 2.5 inthe 86 chrysler ragtop, I would like to put a newer more powerful 4 or 6 with an overdrive auto.  What  are my options?

Hi John,
I would suspect that the main options would be a 2.2 or 2.5L turbo, (and possibly a 3.0L V-6) as those were available for that car (at least the 4 cyl turbos were, the V-6 was never put in the K shell, I believe).
For the quarter window you have to remove the quarter trim panel which is about 11 steps. The easiest way to get this info to you would be for me to xerox copy and postal mail you a couple of pages. Use the "thank and rate" tab where you can list a postal mail address in the comments section.
