Chrysler Repair: electric seats, 2002 Sebring, passanger airbag, color assignments

Question
"the seats am upgrading to electric seats and found that the seatbelts are electric there is a electric plug under seat and i found has a 20amp fuse breaker this is powering the seat electric but not the seatbelt has is a different singular connector i can wire this into same conector mention before and all seams to work but also seams if electric power is there all the time.
the seats have a yellow conector than i believe is the airbag and also the warning light for seatbelt on/off and see if is wire to the passanger seats is 4 wires coming out
and in in the yellow passanger airbag plug.
But the new seats i only can see 2 yellow wires in each connector and my guess is the airbags.
Any iddeas how i could wire the new electric seats from a 2006 sebring convertible into a 2002 sebring convertible lx without electric seats or electric seatbelts only worning light when you click on off or where could i get a wiring diagram?
thank you

Answer
Hi Tony,
I state in my expertise claim that I don't go beyond 2000 year models.
My most recent manual is for a '98 Sebring, but I will look into this and get back to you if I can find out what is the situation.

Hi Tony,
I looked at the '98 manual and I can't identify the wiring colors that you are describing so things must have changed after '98. My best suggestion would be to stick with the wire color assignments. Chrysler engineering is very consistent in assigning specific color to wires that do specific things. So it is probably safe to connect the '06 wires from the seats, etc. to the same color wires on the '02 chassis. But for wires that you can't match up you will need to get the wiring diagrams for '06 seats/restraints and then add wires accordingly to the '02 chassis to fully implement all the features. There is an online manual service but I believe it costs about $25 per manual to access a specific vehicle and it is called alldata.com
Good luck on the project. Do go ahead and wire the ones that match up and then see where you would have to add wires to take care of the rest of it by looking at the '06 manual.
