Chrysler Repair: 99 Sebring Convertible Central Timer Module, timer module, dodge trucks

Question
QUESTION: The gauges all stopped working in my car, and the car stopped locking me in when I started driving down the road. I took it to a dealer and was told I needed a Multifunction Module or a Central Timer Module (that it could be called either), and that it would cost me about $1,000. They said I could look for the part online instead of buying from them at $629, but I can't find ANYthing on this part except for Dodge trucks. Can you provide any help? Any would be appreciated.

ANSWER: body computer  not central timer module

QUESTION: I wondered that after doing so much searching online. One more question then: Do I have to get a module from another '99 Sebring Convertible Limited or can I widen my search to, for example, any '96-'00 Sebring? Thanks so much for your help.

Answer
U will need to use the part number off the old one as a reference  if u get one that is different  things will not work the same way. Like an alarm    if u get one that has an alarm and U dont have an alarm  u get to buy a new BCM and new PCM  so be careful on what U get.
