Chrysler Repair: 96 chrysler sebring, chrysler sebring, blown fuse

Question
Sir,
I have a short somewhere but where to look. Seems like a relay. My car will run for months then all of a sudden will die. No lights nuthing. Then I jump start and it may run for months again or 5 minutes. Have had alternator, battery, starter replaced still does the same thing. Mechanics say he cant trouble shoot if it aint doing it, which it usually wont when i take it there. This cars engine is so good, no oil drips, starts on the first turn, lots of power. Just this issue that makes it so unreliable. Now when running, no sputtering, nothing but even the shake of closing the hood will make it turn off instantly. Would it be economical for me to replace wiring harness or fusebox? hope you have heard this complaint and have some insight for me.

Answer
I doubt its a wire harness issue   they are usually not that far between with it working and not.  A wire shorted out will usually leave a blown fuse or a shorted out part from a wire being shorted to ground. The wire harness run about 1k. I would check into sensors  and possible PCM and or distributor.
