QuestionIssue: "no bus" at odometer, "ccd" at compass, temp and trip pc display. Odometer, speed, tach. no display other than "no bus" at odom, followed by "0" as if no mileage. Auto door locks also not working. Everything else is functional.

The first thing to consider is whether there has been heavy rain or car wash that might have leaked into the cabin around the left side of the windshield at the lower corner, which is directly above the body control module. If water drips on the plugs it might short out the voltage that the bus wires carry (+ and - 2.5V). If this is the case you would want to try drying off the module which is the back side of the fuse box) with a hair dryer, or if that doesn't work, remove the fuse box/module and use some circuit board cleaner in a spray can to evaporate the water.
After that you have to do some troubleshooting with a voltmeter to see if you do have the bus voltages, and the power supply to the module and the ground, so let me know and I can tell you which pins to check.
Maybe even before doing the above you should check fuses 5, 9 and 11 in the fuse box under the dash.
