Chrysler Repair: heat/ac control panel dosnt work: 00 minivan, chrysler grand voyager, mode selection dial

Question
The rear washer, rear wiper, recirculation, ac, and defroster buttons, temperature slider controls, and mode selection dial, on my 2000 chrysler grand voyager se, do not operate. I have checked the fuses in both fuse boxes. The engine was recently washed. what would be the next thing to check and how do i get to it. thanks

Answer
Hi Bill,
I just saw your question in the "pool" and I'll give it a try. I am limited by most recent manual being for '98 models. Two possibilities:
Check fuse 6 in the underdash fuse panel, which is shown to be 20 amp
Then I have note that when the symptoms you describe are present then you should take a look at the circuit board of the a/c control panel specifically to find a broken "trace" on the board just below the top temp slider. That is the area where the current from fuse 6 enters on a brown/pink wire at pin 10 of the blue plug. Look at the traces where the connector to pin 10 enters the circuit board.
I doubt that the engine wash would be involved, but if it were when the problem area dried out it will likely recover.
