Chrysler Repair: 20 amp electrical starting problem, amps, fuse

Question
My 97 sebring JXI won't start up reliably. Right now every time it doesn't start up (which is now more often than ever) I was instructed to replace the 20 amp in the ignition/fuel starter slot. I am concerned because this is not a long-term fix and now the amps are blowing immediately, generally I will go through up to 7 amps before getting it started. I have taken the car to 4 different mechanics and no one knows the answer. Could it be a starter issue?

Answer
a fuse is a one time shot  it does not fix itself nor does it work some times. IF a fuse blows  u will need to find out what the over amps are coming from  either a shorted wire,or a part that is drawing to many amps. a wire diagram will be needed inorder to get to the correct fix.
