Chrysler Repair: 1993 Chrysler new yorker anti-theft device, chrysler new yorker, 1993 chrysler new yorker

mysons 1992 new yorker ran well exelant until  1 night he parked it  and forgot to turn off the lights.   The battery discharged, we tried to  jumper it.   The anti theft device began to blink, the car would start and shut off immediatly.
We tried to reset the device with the key but it would not reset.   Is there a way to get the snti-thef system reset without costing a fortune?

Hi Dick,
Did you try to lock/unlock the passenger side door? That too is supposed to clear the alarmed status. There are some other things to do, but I need to know first whether you have the old style body New Yorker, or the LH new style body New Yorker. I believe both were sold in '93 and they are entirely different vehicles. So write back and tell me which, and I can give you instructions for either removing the system (old style) or getting around the system (new style) vehicle.
