Chrysler Repair: 2001 Town & Country LT Power Windows Problems, screw heads, guide rails

Question
I just had a problem with the front passenger side power window.  We opened it and now it won't roll up.  When we try to close it, it tries to work.  I opened the panel and I can see about 3/5" movement from the regulator (up and down).  But how can I be sure it's the regulator and not the motor or vice-versa?  Do you have the steps to replacing the regulator?

Thanks for your help.
