Chrysler Repair: Daytime Running Lights Module, jeep grand cherokee, daytime running light

Question
I'm sorry, doesn't your profile state "master electrical" with Chrysler, Dodge,
Jeep as one of your credentials???  Having this designation, and working at a
dealership, I can't imagine you wouldn't know where to find this module or
what it looks like!  I mean... what the heck IS within your expertise?

Your question was

Hi.  I have a 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4 liter, Canadian model.  I believe the
daytime running light sensor has failed, since the lights stay on after I turn
off the engine, and the high beam indicator is dimly illuminated.  I'd like to
replace the sensor myself, but don't know where to look.  I think it's under
the dash, given the stink of hot plastic that is now coming from that area, but
can't determine where exactly.  Can you help?  I'd just order in a new one and
compare it to what's under the dash, but my dealer says the new module is
$316 so I'd like to be sure.   Many thanks!!!

But this is outside of my expertise.

Answer
Being that it is a 95 I have no way of looking that info up  anything 96 and up I can  even though its only one year past when Chrysler has put all there manuals online I still cant look it up and there is not chance in a million that I have a manual that is over 14 years old still in tact and readable  so sorry if I am not able to help every one out with there issues.  I cant even look up parts for a 95.
