Chrysler Repair: 1994 Concorde ASD Relay?, dash lights, fuel pump

Question
My concorde won't start. I have been having trouble starting it for about a month. I learned that if I take my time and turn the key to the on position, then pause briefly and listen for the fuel pump, the pump would usually start on the first or second attempt. I can tell by the dash lights when it is ready to start. As I turn the key on, all the dash lights; cruise, check engine, etc... light up briefly. Then I know it's ready to run. If the lights don't flicker, it won't start.
That has worked for me for a while, but now I can't get the light to flicker or the fuel pump to make noise, and of course, the car won't start.
Could this be a pronlem with the autoshutdown relay? I tried locking and unlocking the car, but that didn't make a difference.

Answer
Hi Dave,
The lights flicker issue makes me suspect that your problem is the ignition switch rather than the ASD. I would suggest that you check fuses 18, 19, or 20 all of which depend upon getting voltage from the ignition switch when in the start and the run position and then power the ASD coil and other key items. There should be 12V on those fuses if the switch is working right when you try to start it and keep it running.
