Chrysler Repair: Sebring JXI 1997:multiple electronic gremlins, digital data communication, windshild

Question
The RPM gauge and odometer go out at random times and come back again without specific pattern...In addition, the radioCD display occasionally goes out. Also, the antenna will not retract anymore upon turning the power off on the radio CD. Are all these connected, and is there an easy fix for this problem?

Hi Michael,
All those functions are involved with the digital data communication bus which ties together many systems and is centralized in the body computer. I wonder if these seem to occur when the car has been exposed to rain or a car wash? If that concurrence occurs I suspect that water is getting in at the lower corner of the windshild on the driver side where it then drips down on the body computer plug and plays havoc temporarily with your data bus. See if there is any such relationship.
