Chrysler Repair: 2003 intrepid sxt issues..., shaft sensors, crank shaft

Question
Hey there I work at Chryslers for 14 years now and I am usually the one answering others questions...But I am fed up with all 3 of our dealers in the city all they want is cash and fees for finding out if warrantied or not. 9 out of 10 times they claim not covered or could not find the problem (even when the engine light is on and throughing codes straight at them????) But have to pay for diagnostics for nothing... ANYWAYS...for the last almost 5 yrs I'v owned this car gas mileage is horrible...LACKS POWER (as I have driven others sxt's same exact everything model) exaust smells (not like rotten eggs though like a bad cat would usually) cam shaft crank shaft sensors have gone tranny lines blew a/c replaced (YET BELT area p/s a/c altenator tensioner...whole area still noisy as heck) pwr steer replaced still makes noise...

But just recently engine codes p0172 and 175 went again for like the 6th time in the few years...They can't figure it out after 5 hours...so replaced the map and I think the said maf sensor. I only saw the map being done. Anyways a week later P0140 rough idle real bad smell to exaust. I looked down at the o2 and one looks fairly new. It wasn't done at my last visit and no clue as to when it was done since I was never notified it was done. Oh ya they replaced the evap canister. So now this car has been a headache and these 5STAR joke dealerships we have can't figure anything out. I usually have more problems or damage to the car after it comes out of the dealer. Thanks for any help into this issue...SEAN

Answer
P0172-FUEL SYSTEM 1/1 RICH
When Monitored: With the engine running in closed loop mode, the ambient/battery
temperature above (-7°C)20°F and altitude below 8500 ft.
Set Condition: If the PCM multiplies short term compensation by long term adaptive as
well as a purge fuel multiplier and the result is below a certain value for 30 seconds over
two trips, a freeze frame is stored, the MIL illuminates and a trouble code is stored.
