Chrysler Repair: 84chrysler 5th ave electrical, wheel drive cars, front wheel drive cars

My interior lights are staying on. I checked the switches on the posts. I think I heard the time delay relay and pulled what I think are the relays on the circuit panel but they are still on. Would the lights remain on if the problem was the relay and it was pulled out?

Hi Jason,
I have an '84 manual for the front wheel drive cars. I am not sure that the 5th ave is a front wheel drive. Please verify.
According to the manual, if the courtesy lights don't go off after you turn the ignition key to run, then check the ignition feed to the control relay. If feed is ok, then replace relay.
Now I have to study the circuits to determine what is the feed wire and to which relay. So let me know whether you have the front wheel car (T in the 5th place of the VIN) and also what body style you have.
