Question
All lights are working fine except the rear License plate. It is not the bulb.Because of this The vehicle will not pass State inspection. What could be wrong where can I get agood wiring diagram pls help

Answer
Hi Stephen,
The rear license light is pretty straightforward. It gets its power on a brown/yellow wire that comes from pin 18 of the gray plug at the junction block (fuse box) under the dash. That same wire also supplies the left rear tail light filaments. Its ground wire is black and goes to a ground nearby (just to the left, on the tailgate) which it shares with the high mounted brake lamps.
So you should be able to find out what is wrong nearby if the tail lamps and the high mounteds are working. Have you verified the bulb is conducting and whether you have 12V at the holder?
