Answer
Hi Helaman,
I suspect that you have water introduing into the cabin from the lower corner of the windshield on the driver side where the body computer is located, or perhaps in the engine compartment where the engine controller is located.
The symptom, all gauges read "0", means that the digital communication bus which connects together those two items and many other electronic informational nodes is probably being shorted out temporarily due to water on the plug/socket interfaces. Do you have any signs of water leaking in behind the dash on the driver side, or might one of the plugs on the engine or transmission controller be slightly loose so that humidity could cause a short? There are other components as well in the network: instrument cluster, radio ccd, compass/trip monitor, airbag module, hvac control panel, and anti-lock brake controller. So check around for such leakage. If you find something, seal the leak and then get a spray can of electronic circuit board cleaner which will displace water and the evaporate.
