Chrysler Repair: 2004 PT Cruiser, air intake system, gasoline engine

I need to replace the battery, but it looks like it will require removing some "stuff" before I can get to it. Is there a step-by-step procedure available?

REMOVAL - GASOLINE ENGINE
WARNING:

TO PROTECT THE HANDS FROM BATTERY ACID, A SUITABLE PAIR OF HEAVY DUTY RUBBER GLOVES, NOT THE HOUSEHOLD TYPE, SHOULD BE WORN WHEN REMOVING OR SERVICING A BATTERY. SAFETY GLASSES ALSO SHOULD BE WORN.


Make sure ignition switch is in OFF position and all accessories are OFF.
Open hood.
Remove the air cleaner housing(Refer to 9 - ENGINE/AIR INTAKE SYSTEM/AIR CLEANER HOUSING - REMOVAL).
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable then the positive cable.
Loosen bolt and retainer that holds the battery down to the tray (Battery Remove/Install - Gasoline Engine Only) or (Battery Remove/Install - Turbo Gasoline Engine Only) .
Lift battery out of battery tray and remove from vehicle.
Remove thermal guard (if equipped) from battery
