Chrysler Repair: Crank sensor or ?, crank sensor, autozone

Question
I have a 2000 Neon. Will start to buck and wants to stall like it has no fuel. Engine light came on took it to shop they said it was a crank sensor or head senser.Do you  have a answer for me help

Answer
Hi Jim,
I would like to ask for a couple of facts: which engine do you have (L size and whether single or double cam?). And can you give me the exact fault code number(s) that came from the readout done at the shop (it might say on the receipt or call them again and ask specifically). If you can't get that info then go to an Autozone parts store where you can often get a free readout. I need to know becuase I don't know what a "head sensor" is.
My inclination, once you know the code and the engine type, would be to replace that sensor. You should be able to do that yourself and I can tell you where and how. But I need to know details.
